The KD-122LE Wireless Interconnectable Smoke Alarm is a highly efficient, photoelectric smoke detection device designed for low power consumption. Utilizing precise analog and digital circuitry, it ensures stable and reliable fire detection. Its primary feature is the radio frequency (RF) link interconnection, allowing all units within range to trigger simultaneously when smoke is detected by a single unit.

The KD-122LE uses an RF link (868MHz). When one detector senses smoke and triggers an alarm, it sends a wireless signal to all other interconnected units within range (up to 100m in open field) so they all alarm simultaneously.
What is the alarm volume of the device?
The device provides a high-decibel alarm of ≥85dB at a distance of 3 meters, ensuring it can be heard throughout the indoor area.
How do I know if the battery is low?
The detector includes a low battery warning system. The red LED will flash every 344 seconds, and the buzzer will beep approximately every 43 seconds when the voltage drops below 2.2V.
Is there a way to temporarily silence the alarm?
Yes, the device features a "HUSH" mode. When activated, the red LED flashes every 10 seconds without sound. The device will automatically return to normal standby mode after about 9 minutes.
What kind of maintenance does it require?
We recommend using the "Push to Test" button regularly to ensure the circuitry and alarm are functioning correctly. The LED indicator also provides a standby flash every 344 seconds to show it is active.
What happens if I miss an alarm while I am away?
The KD-122LE has an alarm memory function. The green LED will flash 3 times every 43 seconds for 24 hours following an alarm event to notify you that a detection occurred.
